@ Lance - thanks for the Strauss case info. I'm back in the US after four years in the UK, so the Prop 8 coverage there didn't include this particular (and crucial development). Fanned and favourited.
Now, onward with the 2012 "California Protection of Marriage Act." The 2010 effort hasn't garnered enough signatures on the petitions, due tomorrow, but its creator has been heartened by the thousands who've supported his effort to ban divorce as the newest alteration to the California constitution.
